Various groups within the church offer periodic Bible studies.  Please check this page from time to time for current Bible study opportunities.

Wednesday Women's Bible Study
This group studies the Bible through various authors including Beth Moore and C. S. Lewis. The group meets in the Parlor on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. This is a great group, which includes not only members of RRPC but also many other visitors to our church. Come extend hospitality and delve into a deep study of the Bible.

Thursday Afternoon Bible Study
The Thursday Afternoon Bible Study is reading and discussing the Gospel of Mark during the spring of 2015.  We meet in the sunny nook of Sanders Hall from 1:30-2:30 p.m.  Our approach is Observation, Interpretation, Application.  We read carefully a short passage of scripture.  We observe the content of that passage and learn about the social and historical elements connected to the passage.  We look for the theological themes in the verses, and then we seek to apply the scripture to our daily lives and experiences.  As we read scripture from the 1st century, we are seeking to become closer disciples to Jesus, learning to follow Him as citizens of the 21st century.  At the end of each session we share prayer needs and we pray for each other and for the congregation.  Please join us.  No preparation is necessary.  Each session stands on its own.  Rev. LoAnn Fairman is the leader.
